Curriculum Vitae

Richard F. Crane is a professor of history at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. A former visiting fellow at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, he is the author of Passion of Israel: Jacques Maritain, Catholic Conscience, and the Holocaust (2010/2014). His research interests include World War II, the Holocaust, and Catholic-Jewish relations since 1945. His articles, book reviews, and essays have appeared in such periodicals as The Catholic Historical Review, Studies in Christian-Jewish Relations, Patterns of Prejudice, and Theological Studies, as well as America, Catholic World Report, and First Things.
