Research

Dr. Shcherbatyuk’s research interests lie in the field of renewable energy, and focus on the integration of nanomaterials in the designs of luminescent solar concentrators with the goal of increasing the efficiency and working lifetime of these devices.  Additionally Dr. Shcherbatyuk is interested in tuning of the optical properties of semiconductors by quantum confinement and stress effects as well as collective behavior of semiconductor nanoparticles.
