Fall Service Week

Fall Service Week will be held from Monday, September 25, through Saturday, September 30. There are many opportunities to serve the community around us!

• Monday, 9/25: Help sort donations at Salvation Army! Meet at the Haverty Circle at 3:00 p.m. to drive downtown, and we’ll be back on campus by 4:30 p.m. Let us know if you’re coming through GivePulse (sign in with your RavenZone credentials). 
• Tuesday, 9/26: Visit the residents at Vintage Park nursing facility! This will be a beautiful opportunity to build community with those who rarely receive visitors. Meet at the Haverty Circle at 3:45 p.m. to walk over together, and we’ll be back on campus by 5:15 p.m. Sign up here.
• Wednesday, 9/27: Help save lives by donating blood from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Murphy Recreation Center. Sign up for a time slot here. Donors do not need to know their blood type in advance. Every donation can save the lives of 3 patients, so we are so grateful for every donor!
• Thursday, 9/28: Join us in serving with Habitat for Humanity! Meet at the Haverty Circle at 3:15 p.m. to drive downtown, and we’ll be back on campus by 5:15 p.m. Let us know if you’re coming through GivePulse (sign in with your RavenZone credentials).
• Friday, 9/29: Come visit Mount St. Scholastica to help the Benedictine sisters from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Our time there will close with evening prayer in their beautiful chapel at 5:30 p.m. followed by an optional dinner provided by the sisters. • Saturday, 9/30: Join us for homeless ministry here in Atchison! We will be going downtown from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to distribute snacks and pray with those in need.
