Campus Visits

Benedictine College will open for campus visitors beginning Monday, May 18!

We will manage all visits in a manner consistent with regulations from the state of Kansas and Atchison County. As such, we are only able to permit 10 guests to be on campus during each tour slot. Generally speaking this means we will limit tour slots to three visiting families. Tours will be offered each day at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Exceptions to these times will be considered based on the volume of visitors that day.

We are requiring all guests to abide by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment Travel Guidelines. Please review the travel related guidelines prior to scheduling your visit.

Schedule Your Visit Now

Further, we ask visiting families to wear a protective mask while on campus (disposable masks will be available at check-in) and to practice social distancing.

Deposit Deadline Extension

We understand the importance of making an informed college decision. As such, we are extending the deadline to submit your enrollment fee and housing application from May 1, 2020 to June 1, 2020.

You can submit your enrollment fee and housing application by clicking here.

Self-Reported Test Scores

Benedictine College will accept self-reported test scores for admission purposes. Applicants may list their test scores on their application for admission or they may complete TEST SCORE FORM on their ADMISSION PORTAL.

All freshmen who are admitted and ultimately enroll at Benedictine will need to submit official test scores prior to their entry term, e.g. Fall 2020. These can be sent directly from the testing agency, on an official transcript, or sent from a school counselor.

Unofficial High School Transcripts

Because of the school closures related to Novel Coronavirus, Benedictine College will accept unofficial transcripts for admission purposes. Applicants may submit a screenshot or an emailed copy of the high school transcript to or to their admission counselor.

All freshmen who are admitted and ultimately enroll at Benedictine will need to submit an official high school transcript prior to their entry term, e.g. Fall 2020.

Student athletes may use this option for acceptance to Benedictine College. However, student athletes must complete the NAIA eligibility forms, which require an official high school transcript.

As a result of recently announced state reopening plans and Benedictine's ongoing precautionary measures, the Office of Admission, along with the entire college community, has made the difficult decision to cancel both weekends of S.O.A.R. (Summer Orientation, Advising & Registration) on campus. The events were to be held in June.

In light of this change, we have created a singular SOAR Online experience launching soon to ensure incoming students are provided the necessary information for a successful start at Benedictine College.

SOAR Online will cover topics that new students receive at a “typical” SOAR event, only this year, there's no travel involved! The sessions -- some recorded, some live -- will all be available through a personalized SOAR portal.

Test Optional

Benedictine College is offering a temporary test optional application plan because of the cancellations of the ACT and SAT test dates.

Applicants with above a 2.75 GPA will be eligible to apply as a test optional candidate. This is available for students who intended to take the ACT or SAT for the first time or for those who intended to take an entrance exam to boost their existing score.  We will use the highest grade point average reported on the high school transcript.

Applicants with a 2.74 or below are eligible to apply as a test optional candidate. In addition to the high school transcript, these candidates will be required to interview with a faculty team.
